Glenn Allen Putrah, an 88 year old resident of Trenton, MO, passed away at his home on Friday November 3, 2017.  The body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Trenton.  Rev.  Eric Swyres will officiate.  An inurnment of cremains will be held on Thursday, November 9th at 3:30 PM at the Garden City Cemetery in Garden City, Minnesota.

Mr. Putrah was born on April 22, 1929 in Good Thunder, Minnesota.  The son of Clifford E. Putrah and Mary Aileen Jay Putrah.  He was married to Betty Ann Herrlich on January 22, 1950 at Vernon Center Minnesota.  He was a resident of Trenton and a former resident of the Half Rock community.  He was a farmer his entire life.

Mr. Putrah is survived by three children, Denise Putrah of Manassas Park, VA, Jean Collings and husband Clay of Princeton, MO, Daniel Putrah and wife Beth of Paris, MO, and son-in-law Bob Lovgren of Santa Barbara, CA, five grandchildren, Clint Collings and wife Jamie of Fairmont, OK, Jason Collings of Princeton, MO, Burton Putrah and wife Hillary of Washington, DC, Ann Domenico and husband Pete of Salt Lake City, UT and Conrad Putrah of Paris, MO, 3 great granddaughters, Jayln, Alexa and Willa Collings of Fairmont, OK and survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty Ann and oldest daughter Doreen Lovgren and brothers Jay and Dean Putrah.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or a scholarship contribution will be made to the Princeton, MO FFA organization.  Contributions can be left at or mailed to Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home at 813 Custer Street, Trenton, MO 64683.
