Jerry Stevens, a 75 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 2:54 p.m. on Tuesday, November 08, 2016 at the Wright Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Church of the Nazarene in Trenton.  Cremation will follow the services with a private inurnment at a later date in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 until 7:00 Thursday evening at the funeral home.  Open visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Church of the Nazarene and may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
Jerry Junior Stevens, was born September 19, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA, to Gerald and Mary Kathleen (Briggs) Stevens.  On November 26 1958 he was united in marriage to Linda Stevens in Marceline, MO.  He was employed with Trenton Foods for 20 years before opening his own business, Stevens Electric Heating and Air, in 1989.  Health forced him to retire in 1996.  He enjoyed working on computers and helping at his church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Stevens of Trenton, MO; two sons, Randy Stevens and wife, Sandy of Trenton, MO and Ronnie Stevens of Trenton, MO; one daughter, Tammy Waggoner and husband, Doug of Springfield, MO, a daughter in law, Donna Stevens of Lawson, MO, 10 grandchildren Aaron Waggoner and companion Amy, Racheal Stevens, Tim Stevens and wife Holly, Brent Stevens and wife Jenna, Jeffrey Stevens and wife Beth, Derek Waggoner and wife Heather, Scott Stevens and wife Brooklyn, Ronnie Jr. Stevens and wife Dewey, Stephanie Stevens, and Colton McClure and wife Joann, and 13 great grandchildren.
Those preceding him in death include his parents and a son Jeffrey Stevens.
