Jerry Stotts, a 74 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 8:32 a.m. on Friday, September 02, 2016 at the Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Open visitation will begin at noon on Monday and a family scheduled visitation will be held one hour prior to service time on Tuesday at Resthaven. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Stotts was born on April 18, 1942 in Trenton, MO the son of Cleo and Virginia (McLaughlin) Stotts. He worked at Trenton Foods for 40 years until retirement, in his free time he enjoyed working on old cars. He attended Coon Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia Vinzant of Princeton, MO; one daughter, Jennie (Bob) Hutchinson of Trenton, MO; one son, Jack (Joy) Stotts of Melbourne, MO; one brother, Melvin (Sue) Stotts of Princeton, MO; his companion, Janet Elder of Trenton, MO and her 3 children, Gary (Lana) Lawrence, Rhonda (Jim) Driscoll, and Lori (Jim) Traylor; 10 grandchildren, Jeff (Stephanie) Stotts, Jill (Ryan) Tipton, Ashley (Blake) Stiles, Tasha (Casey) Hollingsworth, Amy (Trent) Rice, Jadeth McCloud, Jacen Stotts, Jory Stotts, Jia Stotts, and Jemma Stotts; 10 great grandchildren; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; 3 great nieces; and 3 great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
