Bessie E. Rorebeck, 106, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.
She was born September 9, 1909, in Livingston County, daughter of Ben and Mary Stephens.  She graduated from Lock Springs School in 1929.  In 1945, she was united in marriage to Rod Horn, who preceded her in death in 1975.  She was married to Ray Rorebeck in 1980, and he preceded her in death in 1995.
She was preceded in death by two step daughters; Dorothy Horn and Eleanor Tilbury, two stepsons; Ivan Horn and Glen R. Rorebeck, four sisters; Grace Mason, Evalene Stephens, Gertrude Reece, Melba Carter and one brother, Russell Stephens.
Bessie was a member of the 10th Street Baptist Church in Trenton.
She was employed at a bag factory in Portland, Oregon for several years and in her later years, she enjoyed being a homemaker.
Because of lack of mobility, she moved to the Eastview Nursing Facility in 2006, where she resided until her death.
She is survived by a step-son, Wayne Rorebeck, of Trenton, Two stepdaughters; Rosie Davis of Chillicothe and Lois Jean Wagner of Kansas City, several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton, with a visitation held from 1:00 until service time at the church.  Burial will be in the Utica Cemetery at Utica, MO.  Memorial donations may be made to Tenth Street Baptist church and may be left with or mailed to Whitaker Eads Funeral Home at 813 Custer St, Trenton, MO  64683.  Online condolences may be left at whitakereads.com.

July and Frank so sorry for your loss. At 106 she had live a good life and now she home in the hands of our father. In God Grace.
