Betty Joan (Gannon) Evans, daughter of Forrest and Grace (Tinnen) Gannon was born April 29, 1931 in Trenton, MO and departed this life May 21, 2016, at the age of 85, at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton. She graduated from Trenton High School the class of 1949. On April 3, 1965 she was united in marriage to Jimmy Evans at the Chillicothe Baptist Church by Rev. Harry Clifton and they made their home in Trenton. Betty worked at Kress and Family Sores.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Her body will be cremated following the services. Memorial donations are suggested to Wesley United Methodist Church and may be left with the funeral home.
Betty is survived by her husband Jimmy and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Sharlene Gear.
