Christine Stover, a 67 year old resident of Utica, MO passed away at 4:20 a.m., April 13, 2016 at her residence where she was under family members and hospice care.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. Open viewing hours will be from noon to 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
Mrs. Stover was born on June 2, 1948 in Trenton, MO the daughter of Harry Dale and Helen Louise (Duncan) Whitney. She was married to David Stover on May 26, 1968. She was a member of the Chillicothe business community as co-owner of The Cleaners.
Surviving relatives include her husband David of the home; mother, Helen Whitney of Trenton, MO; sons, Kevin Stover and his wife, Kristy of Cameron, MO, Michael Stover and his wife, Angie of Chula, MO, and Brian Stover and his wife, Tawni of Muldrow, OK; and a sister, Virginia Frey and her husband, John of Grandview, MO; grandchildren, RyLee Stover, Ashley Wills, Skylar Stover, Maci Stover, Brooke Westcott, Courtney Westcott, Lillian Stover, Aaliyah Grace, Addison Karae, and Azlyn Nichole; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Derald Whitney.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Trenton FFA; they can be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.

Richard and myself and our family, are so very sorry for your loss. Christine and I had many memories of our hanging out together. Christine rode my dad's bus and the times we all had. I will really miss her and the times we had together.Rest in peace girlfriend till we see each other again.

I knew Christine from 4-H and we went to high school together. I had been so looking forward to seeing her this year for our fiftieth class reunon.
