Jody Lloyd Hamilton, a 69-year-old resident of Mesa, AZ, died on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Trenton under the direction of Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.

Mrs. Hamilton was born on Aug. 10, 1946 in Trenton, the daughter of James and Velma Weatherfield Lloyd. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending all the time she could outside as well as being with her granddaughters.

She is survived by a daughter, Traci Guerra and her husband, Mike, of Gilbert, AZ; a son, Jamie Hamilton of Springfield; her mother, Velma Lloyd of Trenton; two sisters, Elaine Burchett and her husband, Bob of Trenton and Anna Rae Harper and her husband, Ron of Mesa; two granddaughters, MaKayla and Rylee Guerra of Gilbert; and three nephews, Mike, Jim and Steve Burchett.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Lloyd; two granddaughters, Cameron and Devon Guerra; and her grandparents.
