Donald Milton Harris, 87, of rural Trenton, passed away at 4:40 AM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at his home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2015 at First Assembly Of God Church in Trenton. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton. Scheduled visitation is from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday evening at Resthaven Mortuary. Open visitation to begin Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Mr. Harris was born on January 12, 1928 in Tawanda, KS the son of Spencer and Vera (Arthaud) Harris. He was married to Mary Ann Marrs on June 25, 1950; she preceded him in death on August 9, 2010.
Donald was a lifelong farmer in Trenton. He loved fishing and spending time with his family and grandkids and watching them play sports.
Donald is survived by two sons, Claude Harris and his wife, Barbara of Trenton and Kevin Harris and his wife, Amy of Trenton; daughter Christi Anderson and her husband, Mike of Clarinda, IA; sister, Charlotte Peyton of Trenton; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
