Jerry Shirley, a 73 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 5:35 a.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
The body was cremated. A memorial graveside service and inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton.
He was born on August 11, 1941 in Trenton, MO the son of Earl Dean and Emma Nadine (Rosenstangle) Shirley. He graduated from Trenton High School. He was married to Sharon Barton on April 18, 2003 in Pratt, KS. He recently worked at KTTN, he enjoyed doing the trading post and visiting with the callers.
Mr. Shirley is survived by his wife, Sharon Shirley of Trenton, MO; sons, Kevin Shirley of Chillicothe, MO and Brett Andrews of North Carolina; daughter, Kelli Mazzuca; 2 step sons, Kary Moore of Trenton, MO and Kevin Moore of Houston, TX; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Nibarger; ½ brother, Jimmy Lamme; and 4 uncles.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, they can be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.

Sharon, so sad to read of Jerry's passing. We surely enjoyed seeing and visiting with you both last Labor Day. May God bless and give you and your family strength. His name always connected with us.
