Willa Irene Persell, 88, of Trenton Missouri, passed away Monday, November 17th at Sunnyview Nursing Home, in Trenton, Missouri.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 23 at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  A visitation is scheduled from 1:00 until service time Sunday.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Salvation Army and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

Irene was born November 13th, 1926 in Trenton, Missouri, the daughter of Gladys and Roy Ferris.  In 1954 she was united in marriage to Ronald Persell in Trenton. She was a person of high moral character. She delivered meals on wheels until she became too old at the age of 82. She was past president of the local ladies VFW auxiliary. The NE Democratic committee was pleased to have her and her husband for many years. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother. She was a member of the Trenton Church of the Nazarene.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, a Son, Garland Moore, a sister Genevive Munn and brothers Joseph and Chester Ferris.

Her survivors include her husband, Ronald Persell of Trenton, a Son Gerald Moore of Grain Valley, a Son Donald Moore of Kansas City, a Daughter Ann Minard of Riverside, California, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
