My thoughts are with you with the loss of your loved one. Mr. Woods was an awesome mentor and role model for students at T.H.S. Especially those of us w/ a little extra 'attitude'. After school when I worked at K&G he would come in and still give his words of advice. I have often wondered about him and relived some of the circumstances I got myself into that he some how always understood and got me out of. He always had a smile and I will never forget his simple kindness and little bit of spunk.

It was 1975 the last time I saw Coach Woods in Brookfield. Before I had the opportunity to play for coach, my family moved away. I wish i could have played for him because I always thought highly of him not only as a coach, but also a man. My condolences to the family.

I am very sad to hear of the passing Coach Woods. I have known Richard for almost 30 years. When I first started coaching at Maryville he and I had some great games. He was a great coach and a class act. His sense of humor was great as well. He usually made you laugh sometime during your visit with him. I give my condolences to the family. he will be missed.
