Twyla Williams, an 81 year old resident of the Milan Health Care Facility in Milan, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2013.
The body was cremated under the direction of Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Mrs. Williams was born on January 24, 1932 in Princeton, MO the daughter of Joseph Wilkerson and Ruby Leona (Wendt) McDonald. She worked as a cook for various restaurants’ and also worked 28 years for Conagra at Milan.
She is survived by 2 sons, Carl Vandel of Trenton, MO and Richard Neff of Aurora, IA; 3 brothers, Jack McDonald of Humphreys, MO, Jerry McDonald of Liscomb, IA, and Calvin McDonald of Pond Creek, OK; a sister, Bonnie Christ of Braymer, MO; 10 grandchildren, Heather Marshall, Rachel Vandel, Ryan Vandel, Adrian Neff, Lora Neff, Aron Neff, Doug Neff, Carla Howard, Sherry Majewski, and Amy Howard; 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Couch; and 3 brothers, Glen McDonald, Richard McDonald, and Phillip McDonald; and a sister, Louise Stephenson.
