Mrs. Frances Veatch, a 98 year old resident of the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, MO passed away at 6:15 AM Wednesday December 26, 2012 at the nursing home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at the Resthaven Mortuary at Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Sunnyview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Veatch was born on August 6, 1914 at Dunlap, MO the daughter of Charles E. and Myrtle Griffith Runk. On February 28, 1938 she was married to Vernon Wendell Veatch at Galt, MO.  He preceded her dying on December 31, 1999. They farmed all their married lives in Grundy County in the Grundy Center community until they moved into Trenton in 1991.
She was a member of the Princeton Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Chuck Veatch and daughter-in-law Kimberly of Trenton, MO; grandchildren, Natalie Holcer and Jenny Collins; step-grandchildren, Mitchell Cosbey and Natalie Cosbey and by 4 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Veach was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, O.C. Griffith and Charles C.W. Runk and a sister, Kathryn Merryman.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Chuck, Kimberly and the whole family as you mourn the loss of a Mother, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was special to a lot of people and remember fondly by them all.
