Mrs. Pauline Miller Parsons, a 54 year Newtown resident, passed away at 1:23 PM Friday June 29, 2012 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at the Newtown Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at the church. Burial will follow in the Harris Cemetery at Harris, MO. The Payne Funeral Home at Galt is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Parsons was born on February 13, 1958 at Spencer, IA the daughter of Willard and Ruth Roberts Otto. She moved with her family to a farm east of Harris as a small child then later they moved to Newtown. She graduated from Newtown High School. On July 9, 1976 she was married to Terry Miller, Mr. Miller preceded her in death dying on April 17, 2003. On September 1, 2007 she was married to Jack Parsons at Branson, MO. They have lived all their married lives on a farm east of Newtown. She had worked for Ellis Antiques for several years and was a part time mail carrier. Later she became a Postmaster serving at Powersville and Spickard for the past 10 years.

She attended the Newtown Christian Church.

Mrs. Parsons is survived by her husband, Jack Parsons of the home; a daughter, Amanda (Jeff) Wilson of Trenton, MO; a son, Matt (Samantha) Miller of Newtown, MO; step-daughter, Kari (Chad) Smith of Princeton, MO; step-son, Justin Parsons of Newtown, MO; 6 brothers, Ivan Otto, Art Otto, Bill Otto all of Newtown, MO, Jerry Otto of Iowa, Tim Otto of Dearborn, MO, and Willie Otto of Springfield, MO; 2 sisters, Barb Medcalf of Newtown, MO and Teresa Pauley of Iowa. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded by her father, a granddaughter, Rian Bree Wilson and a sister-in-law Debbie Otto.
