Owen Wright a 91 year old former Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 7:25 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Resthaven Mortuary with military rites. Rev. Ron Ratliff will officiate. Inurnment of cremains will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.
Mr. Wright was born on May 12, 1920 in Trenton, MO the son of Charles and Leona Owen Wright. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was married to Ethel Mae Duncan on July 30, 1940; she preceded him in death on January 31, 1974, he later married Golda Mulvania on October 21, 1978; she preceded him in death on January 21, 1996. He worked on the Rock Island Railroad, retiring in 1980 and moving to California.
Surviving relatives include his daughters; Leona Kinion and her husband, Dale of Trenton, MO, Linda Weatherfield and her husband Jim of Nixa, MO; sons, Charles “Chuck” Wright and his wife, Sheryl of Holt Summit, MO, David Mulvania of Milpitas, CA, Wesley Mulvania of Bethany, Arthur Mulvania of Northern California, and Kenneth Mulvania and his wife, Yvonne of Kearney; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
In addition to his parents and two wives, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wright and a sister, Lucille Johnson.
