Charles “Chuck” Wayne Elliott, a 75 year old resident of Trenton, MO passed away December 30, 2018 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  He will be cremated following the services.  Memorial donations are suggested to the First Christian Church of Trenton.
Charles Wayne Elliott was born January 20, 1943 in Trenton, MO to Donald and Phyliss (Ewing) Elliott.  Charles lived in Jamesport, MO until 1955 when he moved to Trenton where he attended school.  In the late 1960’s he worked for L.E. Meyers in Electrical Construction.    In 1976 he moved to Ridgeway, MO and worked for MO Public Service. He then moved to Trenton where he was a lineman, then to Clinton in 1980 and back to Trenton as a serviceman.  After moving to Lexington he retired as operations manager with Aquila and then moved back to Trenton.  On August 20, 1994 He was united in marriage to Bernice VanFleet at the Lodge of the Four Seasons at the Lake of the Ozarks.  Charles served as 3rd ward councilman from 2006 until 2016 and was a C.A.S.A. volunteer for 10 years.  He was a member of the Trenton First Christian Church and Elk’s Lodge #801 in Trenton.
Surviving relatives include his wife Bernice of Murfreesboro, TN, sons Chanse Elliott of Trenton, step son Jeff Brown and wife Sherris (Lymer) Brown of Murfreesboro, TN, a sister Pat Reger and husband Al of Chicota, TX, a brother James Elliott and wife Nancy of Excelsior Springs, MO, grandchildren Dawson, Kiley, and Mariah Elliott, and Gabie Brown, and 2 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
