J.R. Archuleta, a 32 year old Spickard Resident, passed away early Friday February 26, 2016 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Open visitation will be all day Thursday. Pastor Doug Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in the Stucker Cemetery, south west of Laredo.
He was born on March 23, 1983 in Trenton, MO. He loved spending time with his kids, racing four wheelers, and hunting. His passion was truck driving and he enjoyed celebrating life with his Mom and Brother, B.J.
J.R. is survived by his wife, Dorothy Arhculeta of Spickard, MO; 3 children, Steven, Jocelyn, and Clayton; 4 step children, Tosha, Owen, Derrick, and Austin Brown; parents, Sandy and Bryan Meservey of Trenton, MO; great grandfather Ben Hernandez Sr. of Las Cruces, NM; grandparents, Jorry and Susan Browning of Trenton, MO; step grandparents, Ralph and Sarah Meservey of Chula, MO and Janice Meservey of Chillicothe, MO; aunt, Ysella and Lathan Moore of Cameron, MO; uncle, Jeff Archuleta; 2 nephews, Brodie and Brycen Bouzek; and cousins, Coleman Browning, Zane Jenkins, and Brandi Tuttle.
He is preceded in death by brother, B.J. Bouzek; father, Jeff Stevens; grandmother, Joanna Guerin; great grandmothers, Mary Hernandez and Odevine Bulyar.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be made to the family to be used for the benefit of the children; checks can be made payable to “Sandy Meservey” and can be left at Resthaven Mortuary.
