Rex Dwayne Garrison, 71, of Trenton, passed away at 2:02 AM on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Scheduled visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. Dwayne was born on September 16, 1944 in Trenton, Missouri to Alonzo Rex and Pearl Azella (Marrs) Garrison. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1962. He was united in marriage to Janice Campbell on June 14, 1964 at the United Brethren Church in Trenton. Dwayne was also served for four years in the Navy.
He was an excellent musician and loved to play the guitar. He worked for Hy Vee in Trenton most of his life.
Rex is survived by his wife Janice Garrison of Trenton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother Dola Garrison.
