Brinda K. Blackburn, 63, of Jamesport, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 24, 2015.
    Mrs. Blackburn was born on July 17, 1951 in Gent, KY the daughter of Ben and Myrtle Violet (Kilgore) Mefford. She was married to Jack Blackburn on July 20, 1970 in Liberty, MO. She attended Trenton Junior College and worked at Green Hills Community Action Agency before retiring.
    Survivors include her husband Jack D. Blackburn of Jamesport; sons, Jack Douglas Blackburn and his wife, Jeana of Milan, Jay D. Blackburn and his wife, Julie of Galt, and David Pete Blackburn and his wife, Denise of Jamesport; daughters, Renee Keophaphone and her husband, Syri of Raytown, MO, Tamara Derry and her husband, Randy of Shenandoah, IA, and Jackie Dawn Blackburn of Jamesport; sisters, Bonnie Roberts of Atchison, KS and Rose Mefford-Braley of Weston, MO; and brothers, Ben Mefford Jr. of Weston, MO, Mark Mefford of Kansas City, MO, and Jay Mefford of Weston, MO; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lucille Mason.
