Robert G. Burtch, 87, of Trenton, passed away at 4:45 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Cameron Region Medical Center in Cameron, MO.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. There will be a scheduled visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Alpha Cemetery in Laredo, Missouri. Open visitation will begin on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Resthaven. Robert was born on November 27, 1927 in Chula, Missouri to Robert and Helen (Sallee) Burtch. On October 16, 1948, he was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Dust at the Alpha Baptist Church in Laredo, Missouri. Together they had two children, Judy and Stephen.
Robert loved fishing and repairing anything that needed fixed.
Survivors include his daughter Judy Rooney and husband Stephen of Kansas City, MO; son Stephen Burtch and wife Cheryl; sister Barbara Williams of Trenton; brother Buddy Glenn Burtch and wife Nancy of IA; and longtime companion Francis Vaughn of Trenton; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley, and his brother Billy Wayne Burtch.
