Susie Koenig, a 60-year-old Trenton, MO resident passed away at 6:23 a.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home where she had been since September 22, 2010.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Richardson Cemetery east of Laredo.  Open visitation is being held at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home.

Susie was born on November 5, 1949 in Chillicothe, MO the son of Carl and Mildred Cooper Lee.  She graduated from Laredo High School.  She worked at Trenton Police Department as a dispatcher in the late 70s’ and was a bookkeeper in several jobs including Bonds Wholesale.

Mrs. Koenig is survived by one sister, Bonnie Yardley and her husband, Scotty of Trenton, MO; one brother, Robert Lee and his wife, Fran of Kirksville, MO; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Bob Sims of Trenton, MO.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Carl Wayne; an aunt, Katie Lee Van Dyke; and a nephew, Brian Lee.

The family suggest, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
