I wish I could be there to offer you my support in person, Richard, Lori and Kay.  But know that you are all in my prayers.  Summers were never complete without a day at Humarock with Kath.  She is at peace now and enjoying eternal sunshine.  You are all in our prayers.  Lou and Art

Richard,
I am so sorry for the loss of Kathy.
She and I spent such a great 10 days together in Italy during the fall of 1977.
She was visiting your Uncle,Cardinal Wright, who was residing at the Vatican, as his nurse. How lucky he was to have her there.
I went to Italy with my dad,Alexander Thomas, for the canonization of St. Charbel, and to visit with Cardinal Wright.
It was at the Vatican that I met Kathy for the first time.
We became very close. We toured Italy together, prayed together and even ventured off to areas of the Vatican that were off limits.
We had fun.
I am sure Jesus and your Uncle, Cardinal Wright are embracing her right now in heaven.
Kathy is in my prayers.
I am sorry that I could not have shared this story with you in person.
Warmly,
Helen Thomas- Chahine (Merrimack College)

So sorry to hear of Kathy's passing.  She was a classmate of mine at JDA and I absolutely loved her.  She had such a zest for living.  she always brought a smile to my face.  My sister Jacquie and I are making a donation to the American Cancer Society in Kathleen's memory.
She was the best.
