I am so very sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a great guy and best friend to my Dad, Joe Broderick -- where Dad went for the DAV so did Larry. They were like two peas in a pod. They grew up in Jamaica Plain together, went off to WWII together and were life long friends. I am sorry that I missed the wake and funeral (only just heard from Richie Gormley). My Mom, Rose Broderick, just passed away on February 15 (just a few weeks before your Dad). I know that Dad and Larry are up there together now 'planning some veteran meeting or event' and I'm sure that food is involved! My prayers are with you all and God Bless! Joani Broderick |
