ATHANAS, Paul R. Sr. "Buck" OF Hyde Park, July 12, age 58. Beloved husband of Marion (Keegan). Son of Mary (Mitro) of Quincy and the late Eraclis "Rocky" Athanas. Devoted father of Jonathan T. of Hyde Park, Paul R. Jr. of Gloucester and Christopher T. Athanas of Roslindale. Brother of Gloria Athanas of Weymouth. Beloved Papa of Monica, Patrick, Krystina, Thomas and Alexis Athanas. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Saturday morning at 9. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth's Church, Milton at 10. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday evening 4-8. Children's room available. Graduate of Boston Latin and Boston College. I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. From the few times I met him, I could tell what a wonderful relationship you had. I hope in time your memories will bring you comfort.
