Devoted father of Jonathan T. of Hyde Park, Paul R. Jr. of Gloucester and Christopher T. Athanas of Roslindale. Brother of Gloria Athanas of Weymouth. Beloved Papa of Monica, Patrick, Krystina, Thomas and Alexis Athanas. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Saturday morning at 9. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth's Church, Milton at 10. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday evening 4-8. Children's room available. Graduate of Boston Latin and Boston College.
