BURKE, Madeline T. of Milton, formerly of Hyde Park, March 24, age 83. Madeline was born in
Boston, graduated from Hyde Park High School, and retired from John Hancock Life Insurance after 46 years with the company. Beloved sister of Virginia (Burke) Wallace and her late husband Edwin of Hyde Park, Catherine P. (Burke) Schmitt and her husband William, Sr. of Quincy and the late Bernard Burke and his late wife M. Edna (Cherry) Burke. Madeline will be fondly remembered by her 14 nieces and nephews and their families for remembering every special occasion and lovingly knit sweaters, hats and mittens. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, HYDE PARK Monday morning at 8, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park, at 9. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday evening from 4-7. Childrens room available. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Madeline loved children.
