SERRA, Helen Ann (Petrillo) Of Readville, March 1, age 89. Beloved wife of the late Frank of 46 years. Devoted mother of Carolyn Serra of Readville, Frank & his wife Donna of Dedham, Peter & Deborah of Walpole, Joseph & his wife Gail of Walpole, Richard of Randolph, & the late Dennis of Readville. Loving sister of Clara Romanus of Readville, & the late George, Frank, Michael, Josephine Gasbarro, Genevieve DelConte, Camella Nicotera & Angelina Nemiccolo, cherished grandmother of Joseph, Matthew, Nicholas, Joseph R., James, Lisa, Michael & Anthony Serra, Jill Mackay, Jaime Gordon, Christopher Fraioli & Melissa Macheras, also survived by many nieces, nephews, inlaws & friends. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Saturday morning at 8, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's Church, Readville, at 9. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Friday evening from 4-8. Childrens room available. Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Helen grew up in Readville & lived there all her life, she was a member of St. Anne's Sodality & enjoyed traveling, bowling, bingo, & crocheting. Helen, her husband & family, spent many enjoyable summers at their Cape home in Swifts Beach, Wareham, where their home was always open to family & friends. She was a loving wife & mother & will be sadly missed by all. She was a recent resident of Victoria Haven Nursing Home in Norwood.
