ABOUJAOUDE, Elias Of West Roxbury, formerly of the South End and Zahle, Lebanon passed peacefully on September 11th surrounded by his loving family at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Fahima (Mina) of 52 years. Cherished son of the late George and Helen. Devoted father of Jocelyne Aboujaoude of Roslindale and George Aboujaoude and his wife Kathryn of Boston. Brother of the late Widad Charbel. Adoring "Giddo" of Makayla, Alanna and Elias and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 8 at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday morning at 10 at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood St., Jamaica Plain. Interment at Mt. Benedict Cemetery. Elias was the proud owner of the Cedars of Lebanon Restaurant in the South End for over 20 years. He continued his passion for cooking with his family every Sunday until the very end.
