NASSIF, Theresa C. (Unis) Of Winthrop, formerly of the South End of Boston, June 29, age 90. Beloved wife of the late George Nassif. Cherished sister of the late Earl J. Unis and his wife Sally and Elizabeth M. Young. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Visiting hours will be held Monday morning from 9-10 at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood St., Jamaica Plain, followed by a Funeral Mass at the Church at 10. Interment at Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends invited. It is with a heavy heart that I send my condolences to all of Theresa's family. She was a good friend and a wonderful and generous woman. Lived across the street from me on Shawmut Ave. in the South End. Many good times were spent with Theresa and her family - playing cards, stoop sitting in good weather, and sharing laughter always. She is with her entire family now and her loving husband George who pre-deceased her by close to 28 years. Also a fantastic cook - Lebanese Cuisine!!!!
Sadly I cannot attend the viewing and funeral to pay my last respects as I am now living in Canada. A deeply religious woman - may she rest in peace.
