WHALEN, Thomas (Retired BFD), of Hyde Park, Dec. 4th, age 92. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (McManus). Devoted father of Thomas Jr., his wife Sarah of Roslindale, Carol Barrett of Quincy, and Sharon Lawrence of Norwood. Cherished brother of John of FL. Loving "Papa" of 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral from The Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, HYDE PARK, Thursday morning at 9. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church at 10:00AM. Visiting hours Wednesday evening from 4:00-8:00PM. Children's room available. Interment at National Cemetery, Bourne.
