KIRWAN, Arthur J., of Nashua, NH, formerly of Dorchester and Readville, on November 17, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Carolyn (Costello) of 24 years and the late Nancy (Cashman). Devoted father of Kimberly Foley, Susan Appolloni and the late A.J. Kirwan, Jr. and loving stepfather of Kerry Ann Brady, John Brady, Jr. and Carolyn Boccuzzi. Loving "Papa" of 13 grandchildren and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Tuesday morning at 9, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park, at 10:00AM. Visiting hours Monday evening from 4:00-8:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

Arthur proudly served in the US Army and was an esteemed figure in the world of drum and bugle corps. He was inducted into the Drum Corps Hall of Fame and was Guest of Honor at the first reunion of the Beverly Cardinals Drum Corps where he was revered as the best there is in the drumming world.
