"Kay" (Barry) Of Hyde Park, originally from South Boston. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 31st at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Bill Fredericks Retired BPD. Devoted mother of Bill and his wife Ann of Sutton, Karen Ryle and her husband John, BPD of Walpole, and Susan Dunn of Readville. Cherished Nannie of Billy, Christopher and Victoria Fredericks, all of Sutton, Amanda Ryle of Walpole and Brandon, Patrick and Paul Leahy of Dedham. Daughter of the late John and Mary (O'Leary) Barry. Sister of Arthur and his wife Bonnie of Cape Cod, Daniel of Jamaica Plain and the late John, Eleanor Czarnik, William, Thomas, Timothy, Joseph and Paul and also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Saturday morning at 8. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park, at 9. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday evening from 4 to 8. Children's room available. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. Kay was a graduate of Nazareth High School in South Boston and she was very proud of her Irish South Boston heritage and was blessed with many wonderful life-long friends. She traveled extensively on the arm of her husband Willy. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. She will be forever missed and held close in all of our hearts.
