ZAHAR, Salim J., of Tewksbury, April 15th age 87, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Rosemary J. (Morad) of 50 years. Devoted father of Lorrice Burke of Tewskbury, Thomas G. of Lakeville, James S. of Taunton, Thomas C. of Marston Mills, JoAnn Duys of Brockton, Jack of Middleboro, and the late Theodore, Joseph and Robert. Cherished brother of George of TX, Zanab Zahar of Malden, Sarah Zahar of Wakefield and the late Mary Keeting. Loving "Jido" of 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00-8:00PM at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St, HYDE PARK. Children's room available. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood St, Jamaica Plain. Interment at the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.

So sorry for the loss of a wonderful, caring uncle. An excellant brother to my mother. A great and loving family man who will be missed by all. Rest in Peace, Uncle Sam

So sorry for the loss of Uncle Sam. Even though I only met and spent a few times with or talking to him...he was very special to me. Prayer to aunt rose and my cousins.
