Dear Kathy , Rita and all of the Hickeys....
I was so sad to hear about your Mom.
She was quite a lady. She was no nonsense, so generous to any who entered her home and funny beyond words.
She was a huge part of my best childhood memories. We had ALOT of fun on Lincoln St.
Her passing feels like having to let go of a time of my childhood I would prefer to hang on to. So I will. I will remember your Mom and Dad for the kindness they showed me and my family and how they treated me like one of their own for so many years!
They were special!
Love, Franny

Dennis and Bertha and all members of the Hickey family,
My heart goes out to all of you for the loss of Rita. Dennis you always spoke so highly of your mother and how she held your family together. You said how full of life she was and how much she loved to laugh. Bertha, you always said how much the grandchildren adored her. Although I only met her one time I saw that sparkle of life in her eyes. You were all blessed to have had her in your lives as long as you did. I know she was a woman of deep faith and I know God welcomed her into Heaven with opened arms where she'll have eternal joy.
You are in my thoughts and prayers,
Mary Clair
