SHAMATTA, Peter of Boston's South End, January 15, passed away suddenly in Florida. Age 71. Son of the late Joseph and Jenny Shamatta. Cherished father of Joseph and his wife Erin, Tofee and Amy and her husband Roukoz. Brother of Elias and his wife MaryAnne of Atlanta and their four (4) loving children. Adoring "Jido" of Peter, Joelle, Andrea and Amanda.


Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., Hyde Park, Friday morning at 10. Followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood St., Jamaica Plain at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday evening from 4:00-8:00PM.
