CHENEY, Frederick C. Of Sagamore Beach, Nov. 24, 2014, age 84. Beloved husband of Marie T. (Quirk) of 51 years. Devoted father of Michael C. of Las Vegas, NV, Joseph M. and his wife Maggie and Elizabeth M. Cheney all of Sagamore Beach. Loving "Papa Fred" of Emily, Annie, Benjamin, Nikki, and Jessica all of Sagamore Beach and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday Dec. 1 at 9 am at St. Margaret's Church, 141 Main St, Buzzards Bay followed by an interment at National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Relatives and friends invited.

Fred is remembered for his many strengths, his patience, love, dependability, card tricks, piano playing and his devotion to his faith. He is also remembered for his reliability for always being there when needed. Fred was a Math Teacher at Brockton High School for over 30 years and he was a decorated Korean War Army 3rd Infantry Division Veteran.
