DARLING, Lily T. (Salami) Of Jamaica Plain, May 14, surrounded by her loving family, age 84. Cherished daughter of the late Simon & Zelpha (Botaish) Salami. Devoted mother of Camile Darling- Rodriguez of Jamaica Plain, Catherine Darling of Jamaica Plain and Hyde Park, John of Jamaica Plain & David of Roslindale. Cherished sister of Shamon, Thomas & Louise Salami all of Jamaica Plain & the late Ruth Salami, Helen Delahanty & Elizabeth Carr. Sister in law of Neil Carr of Hyannis. Loving "nana" of Camile, Johnny, Lily, Wilder, & Ryder, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Tuesday morning at 10AM, Followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, at 11AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Monday evening from 4-8PM. Children's room available. Interment at Mt. Benedict Cemetery. Former member of the Saint Maron Society. With deepest regrets to Camile and her family. Lily was such a nice, kind lady. One of my fondest memories I've had with her is when I would be in her kitchen waiting for my son David who is friends with her grandson Johnny. She thought I had a big family of 5 children, and I told her she had a big family of 4 children! May she be at peace now. She will be missed!
