Devoted father of Donna Dietrich and her husband Bruce of Gilford, NH, Kathleen Smith and her husband Robert of Hyde Park, and Judith O'Brien of Quincy. Cherished brother of the late Walter V. and Louise O'Brien. Loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, inlaws, and friends. Visiting hours will be held Saturday morning from 10-12 at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, followed by an interment at Fairview Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
