SAWAN, Mariam (Merhej) of Roslindale, April 16th, age 96 .  Beloved wife of the late Sleiman Sawan.  Devoted mother of Anise and his late wife Norma of CA, Emilio and his late wife Barbara of West Roxbury, Joseph and his wife Elsa of West Roxbury, Salime DiPlacido and her husband Dilvo of Westwood, Amina Sarkes and her late husband George of Hyde Park, Tony and his wife Marie of Bellingham, Moses of CA and Elias of Foxboro.  Cherished sister Najib Merhej and his wife Hannie of Ottowa and the late 2 sisters and brothers.  Loving  "Sittou" of 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and also survived by many loving nieces, nephew, in-laws and friends.  Visiting hours will be held Tuesday evening 4-8 at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, HYDE PARK.  Children's room available.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church.  Relatives and friends invited.  Interment at Mt.
