I am indeed very sorry to read about Jan's passing. She was a friend, and a very ardent part of the anti-busing groups. She worked devotedly as an activist, and again I met her and spoke with her many times at the St. George Orthodox Tuesday Luncheons. She was a very warm and honest person.
I will surely miss her.

Al, Paul and Laura,

Please accept my deepest sympathies in the passing of your mom. It was a pleasure to share in her birthday party a few years back with my dad, and to meet you all. She was a lovely woman that touched the heart of many.
Much Love and Peace,

Jan you are a wonderful woman, neighbor and friend over the years when I met you at 12 years old. So glad we were together a few months ago.
We even shared the same birthday. God is going to be happy to have you home with Him, and your love for your family will always be with them.
Love you, Mary

Dear Al and family, I just found out about Jan's passing. No words can convey the sadness I feel about your loss. It has been many, many years since we have spoken, but every once in a while you both would come to mind. Please accept my condolences and know that I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I will never forget you or Jaye and the fun times Bob and I had at your house.
