CARLSON, Phyllis H. (nee Filomena Martucci) Of Readville, formerly of Randolph, passed away on January 22, at age 94, after a brief illness. Born in 1919 to Phillip and Mary Martucci of East Boston, she was the loving sister to Angelo, Raymond, Rose and Irene, all previously deceased. She was the cherished wife of 41 years to Harold who preceded her in death in 1989. She was a devoted mother to Janet Forsyth of Readville; Linda, wife of Robert Collins of Stoughton; and Nancy, wife of Kevin Duff of Newton. She was the treasured GG to 6 grandchildren: Philip, Mary, Stephen, Jessica, Jenna, and Kyle and to 5 great-grandchildren: Lily, Colton, Ainsley, Broxton and Griffin. An avid horseback rider, she met her future husband at the Braeburn Riding Club and was married in 1948. Upon starting a family, she moved to Readville where she became active in St. Annes Ladies Sodality and Girl Scouts while spending summers at Swift Beach in Wareham. Later in life she enjoyed traveling when not spending time with her family, which was her true passion. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK on Monday 1/27, at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Annes Church, Readville, at 10am with internment at St. Marys Cemetery, Randolph.
