MacCUNE, Irene C. (Carroll) Of Hyde Park, Jan. 5, age 93, died peacefully at home. Wife of the late James F. Mother of Maryanne Aucoin & her husband Joseph of Orlando, FL, Nancy Lambert & her husband former Holliston Police Chief Thomas of Boston, James & his wife Patrice of Canton, Denise Provost & her husband Marc of Marshfield Hills, sister of Anne Blundell of Hyde Park, & the late Joseph Carroll & Margaret Gray. Also survived by 7 grandchildren & nieces & nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pius X Church, Milton, Tuesday morning at 9. Relatives & friends invited. Interment private. Dear Maryanne, Nancy, Denise and Jimmy,
My father called last night to tell me of your mother's passing. I am so very sorry. I wish I could be there to express my sympathies properly. I have never sent condolences via email before, but I don't have your addresses and I doubt my father could find them amongst my mother's things.
I have very fond memories of visiting your house. In particular were these delicious cookies that had coconut in them. I never had them anywhere else. Funny how something so simple created a memory that has lasted a lifetime. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of your children.

Just hearing of Irene's passing. Often think of her fondly. Praying daily for Irene, Laura Moore, Betty Gordon, Elynor Kelly. Also praying for Grace and Paul Power who are still with us. My condolences.
