Devoted father of Barbara Wirtz of Hyde Park, Sheila Twomey and her husband Richard of Londonderry, NH, Anthony Jr. and his wife Elaine of Long Island, NY. Cherished brother of Vincenza Mollo of Hyde Park, Mary Esposito of Hyde Park, and the late Guy, Albert and John (BPD Det.). Loving "Papa" of 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Friday morning at 8, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park at 9. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday evening 4-8. Children's room available. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park. Anthony was a retired BPD Detective, founder and treasurer of Mass. Association of Italian American Police Officers, member of Patrolmens Association, Middlesex Sheriffs Association, and charter member of the Bocce Club.
