ANDERSON, Arthur W. Of Hyde Park, November 29, age 92. Cherished son of the late Carl and Agnes (Nordberg). Devoted brother of Ruth Cignoni of Brewster and the late Mildred Briggs, Elsie Conlin and Roy Anderson. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday morning from 10-11 at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, followed by a service at the funeral home at 11. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Arthur was a late W.W. II Navy veteran, a partner in Yankee Barn Homes, and former Vice President of Hyde Park Cooperative Bank. Arthur was very active in many Hyde Park clubs and organizations, but he was most proud of the blue spruce tree he donated to Hyde Park in memory of his parents. The annual tree lighting is now called "The Anderson Tree Lighting" named after him.
