Beloved husband of the late Mary L. (Hartherz). Loving son of the late
Myles and Sarah Flynn. Devoted father of James P. Jr and his wife
Doris of Avon, Deborah Ingalls and her husband Brian of Avon, Patricia
Thompson and her husband Allen of Roslindale, Norma Ricci and her
husband William of Weymouth, Linda Ducharme of Holyoke and the late
Barbara McDonough. Cherished brother of Miles Jr., of Alabama Leonard
of Mansfield, Martin of Norton John of Maryland, Arthur of Florida,
Robert of Weymouth, Mary Hardiman of Brockton and Sally Flynn of
Falmouth. Loving “grandpa” of James III, Brett, Jenna, Jessika,
Melissa, Tina, Michael, Nicole, Brian, Delaney and 21 additional
grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also survived by many loving
nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Visiting hours will be held
Thursday afternoon from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral
Home 22 Oak Street HYDE PARK followed by a Funeral service at the
Funeral home from 5:00-6:00 P.M. Pastor Daniel’s officiating.
Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private at family’s
