HANLON, Walter J. (Retired BFD Captain) Of Hyde Park, July 17, age 82. Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (Noonan) of 53 years. Cherished son of the late Walter J. and Anna Hanlon. Devoted father of Dr. Thomas Hanlon and his wife Diane of PA, and Susan Chambers and her husband Paul of Franklin, and the late Daniel F. and Maureen Hanlon. Cherished brother of Joanne Hanlon of Marlborough, Claire "Tommie" Hanlon of Cherryfield, ME, Louise Kilroy of Stoughton, and the late Marie Donahue. Loving grandfather of Michael, Kevin, Timothy, Erin Webber, Daniel Jr., Sheila, Meghan, Conor and Liam. Great grandfather of Matthew, Emma, Cameron and Cole. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Visiting hours will be held Friday morning from 9-11 at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park at 11.
