PETTAWAY, William Francis Of Mattapan, May 9, age 28, after a long illness. Cherished son of William D. (retired BFD) and Margaret (Tucker) of Mattapan. Devoted brother of Lynne Pettaway of Quincy and Erik C. (BFD) and his wife Margaret of Randolph. Loving uncle of Dennis Jones Jr. and Erik H. Pettaway. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held Friday evening 4-8 at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak St., HYDE PARK. Childrens room available. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning at 9 at the funeral home. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Roslindale.
