KANE, John V. Sr. Of Walpole March 9, age 85. Beloved husband of Mary Thea (Prendergast) of Walpole. Father of Cynthea and her husband Atty. Steven Murphy of Norfolk, Atty. Stephen M. and his wife Cindy Kane of Newton, John V. Jr. and his wife Carolyn Kane of CA and Richard F. and his wife Kristen Kane of Medfield. Brother of the late James Kane. Also survived by 10 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild. Funeral from the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St., WALPOLE, Saturday morning at 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church, Walpole at 10. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday evening 5-8. Former owner of the Crown Copy Center in West Roxbury. Late WWII Army Veteran, recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
