(Gwynn) Fanning of Braintree.  Son of Barbara (Hayward) and the late John Fanning.  Father of John M. and his wife Jane Fanning, Mass State Trooper of Hanover, and Nicole D. Fanning of Braintree.  Brother of  Diane Murphy of Revere and the late Robert Fanning.  Loving papa of Luke and Shane.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Funeral  from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home,  22 Oak Street, Hyde Park, Saturday morning at 10 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church at 11.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visting hours Friday evening 4-7.   Children's room available.   Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.  For directions or guestbook, please vist thomasfuneral.com
