Mason, Elmer R. II "Butchie" of Dedham, formerly of Cambridge, Feb. 4, age 58, suddenly.  Beloved husband of Diane M. Boudreau Mason of Dedham.  Loving father of Jennifer Mason of Dedham, Christopher and Linda Pendergast of Boston, Melody and Michelle Mason of Cambridge.  Stepfather of Amanda and Jeffrey Kelly.  Brother of Dolores, Anna, Yvonne, Donna and the late Nicky.  Also survived by 14 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service will be held in the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, Hyde Park, Friday, Feb. 12 from 11-12:30, followed by a collation at the Boston Police Post, 205 American Legion Hwy., Dorchester from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Please in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butchie Mason Memorial Fund, c/o Commonwealth Cooperative Bank, 1172 River Street, Hyde Park 02136.
