FOLEY, Elizabeth “Betty” A (Wuschke) of Quincy, formerly of Holbrook and South Boston,
passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on October 28, 2017 at the age of 82. She was
educated at St. Augustine in South Boston. Beloved wife of the late John P Foley. Devoted
mother of Mary (Dolly) and her husband Kevin Darcy of Quincy, and their children Shannon
and Lauren of Milton and Kevin of Hanover; Carolyn and her husband John Hurst of Stoughton,
and their children Pamela and John; Brian and his fiance Debra of Halifax and his children
John and Rebecca; and Sharon and her partner Larry of Holbrook and Sharon's son Shawn.
Loving sister of Robert Wuschke and his partner Sandy of South Boston and Philip Wuschke
and his wife Dottie of Brockton, and the late Dorothy (Dolly) Harris of South Boston. She is
also survived by 8 great grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as Big Nana,
and by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and family. She was born and raised in
South Boston, moved to Holbrook and retired to Quincy (Wollaston Beach).  Retired City
of Quincy employee. Betty loved to crochet and go on cruises but mostly enjoyed being
with her family for dinners and other celebrations. She was a member of the Castle
Island Association. A Memorial Service will be celebrated Friday morning, Nov. 3
at 10:30am at St. Brigid Church, South Boston.
